What is the fCMO Agency Model?

Hi. I'm Ken Tucker with ChangeScape Web. I'm the marketing solution architect. I'm also a fractional CMO, chief marketing officer.

So I wanna talk to you today about, what I think is the most effective model for most small businesses in today's highly ever changing highly competitive ever changing world of digital marketing and marketing overall.

So let's talk about why a fractional CMO agency makes sense.

So marketing a small business is hard.

There are a lot of different things, and and challenges everywhere ranging from finding reliable marketing partners or team members that you bring into your company, struggling to stand out in a crowded market, which has only gotten more competitive and more crowded after COVID, wasting money trying to guess at what effective marketing campaigns will be, keeping up with the constant changes in marketing, understanding how to target and find the right customers, navigating the complex technical aspects of marketing, collecting the data so that you know what's working and what's not.

You're busy running your business. You shouldn't be expected to market it too.

Your customers are probably being snatched up by some of your competitors, and, we don't want that to happen.

So, really, what's the solution?

Well, there's a big concept out there right now called CMO. And that's somebody who has, you know, high degree of experience with marketing strategy, who works with an organization on a part time basis or a contract basis to provide strategic direction and to lead the marketing efforts.

So that's that's a fantastic solution, but it's not enough. You also need to have the implementation team, and so that's why a fractional chief marketing officer plus an agency model really works well. So in marketing, there are so many different skill sets that are needed from strategy to content to social to search engine optimization to paid strategies to creative to project management. And, oh, yeah, we see this all the time.

So many businesses don't have the budget for hiring for all of these roles.

If you compete on price, it's a race to the bottom, and that that can send you down a, you know, a spiral that, is hard to recover from.
